What does a great Conversion Analyst?
The Conversion Analyst is an active participant in a high-profile position that supports Portico credit union clients transitioning from another core software during their first month live on Portico. This position will have a wide variety of responsibilities throughout the course of the credit union’s conversion, making a willingness to do whatever it takes a must. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service background, excellent verbal and written communication skills, desire and capability to troubleshoot issues, and is extremely well organized. Knowledge of the credit union or banking industry is a must.
In this role, you can look forward to:
Provide consultation to the client before, during and after conversion, including the correct use of system and on-line terminal assistance, as well as daily application balancing procedures.
Support the client during Portico Go-Live by researching accounting and back office issues that arise during and after conversion to Portico.
Managing outstanding issues for a credit union while they transition from the Delivery teams to Client Services
Communicate progress and any potential problems to management for awareness and/or resolution.
Maintain the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of conversion process
Apply standard project management principles including the creation and maintenance of project plans and managing project tasks and resource collaboration as they apply to each implementation.
Manage multiple clients and adhere to project timelines.
Support Fiserv’s mission by providing outstanding service, support, and implementation of Fiserv integrated technology and service solutions to our internal and external clients.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
High School Diploma required.
2 years Financial Industry experience; working at a financial services organization, Credit Union or Bank required.
Experience and interaction with clients are required.
Experience and knowledge of basic accounting principles is required. Basic knowledge of General Ledgers, the principles of debits, credits, and balancing.
Flexibility to work after hours/on-call/weekends go live as needed
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Experience with Credit Union products and services highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field
Project Management capabilities
Portico experience a plus.
Up to 40% travel within the US as needed for internal team meetings and client on-site engagements
