Aon Is Looking For An Operations Analyst The Operations Analyst will split their time between research projects, producing analytics and reporting, with a focus on alternative products. Available Locations:  Chicago, ILNew York, NY This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both from home and your aligned office.  Recently voted one of the Best Employer for New Grads by Forbes, we are a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement, reinsurance and health solutions to our clients. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into; the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits to mentor and develop future leaders of the firm. This 10-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls.   Job Responsibilities:Collaborating with Manager Research, to support Portfolio Management decisionsResponsible for developing and automating market analyticsResponsible for producing performance and risk analyticsDeveloping client, marketing, sales reports and commentariesSupport research projects under the COO Applying data analysis skills and technical expertise to build and test new methods and processesCandidate Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration,  accounting,  economics, finance, computer science, math, statistics, or engineering is preferredExperience with R, Python or another programming language preferred, although not required0-3 years of experience in a financial services environmentKnowledge of  statistics, sourcing and exploring data, fitting/regression methods, etcInterest in and ability to perform research and test ideasInterest in investments and some knowledge of derivativesGood communication skillsProactive in delivering on client and portfolio projectsCuriosity to learn new methods and applicationsApplicants for this role should graduate between December 2022 – June 2023 and have a GPA of 3.0 or aboveUnrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations.
