Sr Business Analyst

Profile

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain financial and operating metrics tracking and forecasting
Optimize and report on new initiative performance and returns
Develop models and analytical frameworks to answer business questions, including analysis of performance and revenue opportunities
Summarize and present results to senior management and make recommendations regarding resource allocations
Create complex SQL queries, perform ad hoc and exploratory analysis, propose solutions to data and reporting needs and ensure compliance to corporate data security requirements for the storage, transportation and retention of data.
Ad-hoc projects (including presentations)

 
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Finance, Economics or equivalent)
5 years of experience in a business analytics/finance role
Practical experience in SQL query scripting, tuning, debugging, troubleshooting, and execution, specifically in a highly data-intensive organization working with large-scale, complex datasets and delivering against short timeframes
Good business judgment and ability to synthesize, analyze and extract implications from data
Ability to problem-solve creatively
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Detail oriented
Self-starter
Success working in a fast paced environment
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Must have great attitude, be self-motivated and self-organized, and hungry to make an impact and constantly develop in a fast growing organization
