Immediate need for a talented Java/TIBCO developer
that brings experience in the Financial Services Industry. This is a 6-month
contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
TIBCO Administrator/Developer
The ideal resource is an experienced, self-motivated Administrator/developer that will design, migrate and build applications built on a TIBCO infrastructure and Java. Must have 8-10 years of experience in design, development and administration with TIBCO Software’s technology.
Primary Responsibility include:
Responsible for application software upgrades and migration.
Supporting, enhancing, migrating existing production application, and developing/implementing new interfaces.
Must be able to identify, recommend solutions and resolve difficult problems.
Strong focus on documentation and development standards.
TIBCO Development and Design experience using the TIBCO suite of products
Experience managing a fully integrated highly available application environment
Experience with working with extensive application frameworks
Understanding of other infrastructure domains such as storage (SAN/NAS), networking and security is expected.
Working knowledge of Oracle databases and their interaction with the Solaris/Linux Operating System
Identifies, structures, and delivers services that enable business processes.
Produce technical requirements, test and implementation plans, and project task documentation for new implementations or changes to system.
Perform in a collaborative manner by coordinating changes while maintaining a positive relationship with team members, external consultants and vendors, business partners, interfacing application system contacts and numerous technology services groups.
Produce and update necessary system monitoring and recovery documentation as required.
Propose ways to continually improve the application environment.
Qualifications/Skills:
· 8-10 plus of experience in large scalable enterprise systems development and architectural design using Tibco technology.
· Tibco Administration and Platform Management experience.
· Tibco EMS, Admin, Hawk, Rendezvous experience is must.
· Experience with setting Tibco domains and projects.
· TIBCO Business Works (Designer, Adapters etc.)
· TIBCO Adapter technologies (Database, MQ Series, SWIFT, Files )
· TIBCO Business Events 3.x and 5.x experience is a must.
· XML, XSLT, and XPath skills to build message driven processes
· Experienced in SOAP, JMS & SOA Development.
· Experienced in developing Web services using SOAP over JMS and SOAP over HTTP.
· Strong knowledge of relational database design (specifically Oracle).
· Full life-cycle Development, Defect Analysis, Quality Assurance testing, Implementation and post implementation support of application software is a must.
· Knowledgeable with Configuration Management concepts and tools.
· Strong analytical, good communication and Inter-personal skills are required due to the required interactions with end user community.
· Able to multitask with more than one project at a time.
· Strong UNIX/LINUX and MS/Windows experience
Desired Skills:
· Java Development (J2EE / JMS)
· IBM MQ series.
· Demonstrated proficiency in JMS, EMS, SQL, JAVA, XML, and HTML
· Familiarity with scripting knowledge (ksh, bash etc)
· Familiarity with .NET (C#) and Web Services concepts.
· Familiarity with SWIFT FIN messaging.
· Agile / Scrum methodology
Educational/Work Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in an IT related position, at least 5 years in TIBCO Administrator/development area.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
