Description
The Sr. Business Systesms Analyst (BSA) will define solutions (requirements, designs, services, recommendations) to business/systems problems and owns the integrity of the solution through customer acceptance and final disposition of solution.- Responsible for the development, maintenance, management, and delivery of technical information or documentation to the appropriate audiences in the appropriate Capital One standard formats via print and online mediums.- Includes interface with management, users, and information technology professionals to create high-level conceptual solutions to business problems.- Usually possesses significant knowledge in one or more business functional areas.- BSA-s involved in Agile projects will be expected to have responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.
Participates in developing functional requirements, testing, training and implementation of applications. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and defines requirements, translates into functional design documents and participates in the technical design, test planning and user documentation processes.
- Works with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications. Analyzes and re-engineers business processes.
- Participates in software design, prototyping, construction and testing of new or enhanced applications.
- Assists in training users on new or enhanced applications.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology, or military experience
- 3 years of experience in Full project lifecycle software development
- 3 years of experience in Gathering and documenting user requirements
-3 years of financial services experience
-1 years Mobile technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, or IT Management
- 5 years of experience in Full project lifecycle software development
- 5 years of experience in Gathering and documenting user requirements
-5 years data and systems analysis
-5 years in quality assurance and testing phases or projects
-3 years in Lean/Agile development experience
-1 years Mobile technology
