Job Title Risk Management Director-Health Group )  Chicago, IL  Job Responsibilities:Support the North America Risk Office SMART goals and NA Health business through:Developing a strong risk management culture in the NA Health business, providing leadership and oversight of Aon’s key risk metrics and working with businesses to deliver satisfactory KPIs Delivering proactive monitoring and systems of check to aid the business in self-assessment, including the introduction of tools to assist accurate business performance measurement; Providing training, resources and materials to support risk management best practice facilitating compliant solutions through best practice sharingWorking with operations community to manage & optimize operational & technology initiatives that lower risk in the firm.  Current examples include:Ensuring the smart goals are achieved in the regionLimit of Liability (LOL) complianceCompliance around evolving privacy regulation (e.g. GDPR, California Consumer Protection Act)Third party due diligence consistent with Aon’s Anti-Corruption programLOL approval process migration to Aon ConnectSupporting the business in remediating audits and provide guidance to the business on timely closure of current and potential exceptionsCollaborating with the business on the sourcing and third party outsourced vendor processesPeriodically review and report on internal audits, regulatory examinations, policies and procedures of third-party vendorsIdentifying and helping to drive the resolution of process, behaviors and procedures that have the potential to cause errors and omissionsProviding input to the Senior Director - North America Risk Office on potential topics requiring inclusion in the Regional Risk Committee meetings.Leading discussion on risk understanding and acceptance with business leaders on growth, productivity and M&AProvide insights on legal, regulatory, operational, financial, strategic, reputational risk developments and how they may impact the North America Health Solutions business modelConducting risk reviews of new/existing solutions, processes and operating modelsDeveloping and analyzing data and metrics, with an outcome focused on effective dashboards and operational reportsIdentifying, planning and managing process improvement projects to create year over year efficiencies to create a culture of continuous improvement across operationsDemonstrating keen awareness of a project’s risk alignment to the organization's strategic goalsAnalyzing day-to-day activities of North America Health Solutions to form a point view in reducing revenue at risk based on operating results such as E&O, customer complaints and operating events (ex. Outages)Work closely with Aon’s Compliance department to help connect further with the North America Health business and help drive meaningful implementation of Aon’s Compliance policies.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in Business or related field8-10 years of experience in an operational management, risk, compliance or audit role within a health and benefits-related companyPrior experience of risk management preferredDemonstrated leadership and operational experienceStrong verbal and written communications skillsSelf-motivated and possess intellectual curiosityAbility to use expertise to develop strategic operating plans and execute business unit initiativesStrong project management, organizational and communication skillsStrong analytical skills with ability to provide insight and recommendationsFinancial management experience in the creation and implementation of financial controlsUnderstanding of key drivers of compliance, control and operational performanceAbility to provide input on Company-wide plans and polices of strategic importanceAbility to work in a complex global matrix environment with a mix of functional, business and geographic leaders How we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
