Leidos has an opening to provide Asset Management functions, under the direction of the Government, to a civil customer under a large Federal government agency. The successful candidate will report to our Asset Management lead, and will be responsible for ensuring that asset inventory is accurate, complete, and properly tracked in ServiceNow. Assets include, but are not limited to:

Surface Pro’s

Monitors

Peripherals

iPhones

Flash drives

Job Responsibilities:

The Asset Manager Support candidate will assist with weekly updates to the Asset Manager lead and the Federal Division’s Property Custodian to make certain the government’s property accounting system is updated in a timely manner with accurate updates. They will also be responsible for assisting with and obtaining the Personal property forms for transferring all equipment that holds data. Other responsibilities include managing the location used to store received equipment, as well as equipment that must be excessed and picked up for disposal.

The Asset Manager Support candidate will assist the Asset Manager lead and the Government in inventory awareness and ordering toner for both the local and field component offices, and will conduct periodic inventory spot checks to validate the accuracy of asset location information with timely and accurate updates in ServiceNow. The supporting candidate will also assist the Asset Management lead in the Move/Add/Change process and in managing maintenance agreements within the SNOW tool.

The Asset Manager Support candidate will assist the Asset Manager lead and Government in reconciling the equipment inventory with awarded maintenance contracts, with the goal of ensuring that all equipment is covered by maintenance contracts, and that contracts are not maintained for equipment that is no longer in use.

In addition, the Asset Manager Support resource will track software licenses and maintenance agreements, and provide the Asset Manager Lead and the Government staff with information about when the agreements expire. They will also track any software media which is received by the customer, and track stock levels of various supplies (i.e., toner, CDs, USB drives, laptops, monitors, etc) advising when a reorder point is reached to ensure timely reorders and prior to the stored assets have been depleted.

The Asset Manager Support resource will work with the on-site Asset Management lead and the Deskside Support team to ensure that storage areas are clean and organized. Where excess items have accumulated, the Asset Manager will work with the Asset Management lead and Government representative to utilize the government’s surplus process to remove excess equipment.

Other similar/related responsibilities as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma with 3 years of prior relevant experience providing enterprise-level asset management of at least 1,000 employees (preferably to a Federal Government organization)

Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. US Citizenship is required. Current clearance is not required.Prior experience with ServiceNow (Request, CMDB, and Incidents)

Basic understanding of ITIL foundational concepts, ITSM based ticketing, and customer service

Must be team oriented and have excellent written and verbal communications skills

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer expectation management
