The individual will work in Global Liquidity Management team within Citiís Corporate Treasury. The team is responsible for establishing the framework for sizing liquidity requirements including internal stress testing framework, developing contingency funding plans in conjunction with other stakeholders within and outside Citiís Treasury function, providing liquidity oversight to Citiís global entities, and ensuring that Citi maintains adequate liquidity appropriately positioned to meet the companyís global needs both in normal market conditions as well as during periods of stress.
In this role, the individual will be responsible for supporting, and selectively leading, review and development of assumptions for internal liquidity stress tests as well as interpretations for regulatory liquidity metrics. This includes providing quantitative and statistical inputs into developing assumptions, review and interpretation of regulations. This role will include detailed deep-dives into products and performing data analytics to support stress test assumptions which will require strong collaboration and engagement with partners across Treasury and Risk functions.
Understand Citiís regulatory liquidity metrics and reporting requirements (Liquidity Coverage Ratio or LCR, Resolution Adequacy and Positioning or RLAP, S2 or highly stressed market disruption scenario) and the existing liquidity framework so that individual is able to effectively support both ongoing liquidity oversight requirements and future liquidity requirements (Net Stable Funding Ratio or NSFR). †
The ideal candidate should possess an eagerness to learn the current process and liquidity metrics, be a change-agent to effectively recommend and implement enhancements, and help the team execute towards the target state. To be successful in this role, the individual needs to be a self-starter, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate across different levels in the organization and eager to make an impact. Existing knowledge of Citi legal entity structure, Balance Sheet products, and key liquidity regulations (such as Reg WW and Reg YY) is desirable.
This role gives the individual a unique opportunity to gain exposure to Citiís balance sheet and develop understanding of liquidity management process. Further the individual will develop understanding of various liquidity stress metrics as well as regulatory requirements','!*!
A bachelor degree in finance, legal, accounting, or related fields; advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in one or more of Finance, Risk, or Quantitative model development disciplines.
Strong quantitative skills, with attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to take ownership and execute on deliverables.
Team player with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
