Aon is looking for an Actuarial AnalystAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Global Risk Consultant business group within Aon Risk Solutions in San Francisco, CA.Your impact as an Actuarial AnalystJob Responsibilities:DataCollect, coordinate, and analyze data in support of both existing brokerage business and proposal development for new clients.Support analytical work, including data management, loss forecasting, accruals, self-insurance analysis, and cash flow analysis.OperationalDeliver quality products and services to clients or colleagues, and ensure work product consistently meets expectations for accuracy and appearance.Complete routine client service tasks efficiently, delivering products and services accurately and on time, while applying Aon processes, methods, and models.Apply existing approaches and processes to specific client assignments, alerting team members to deficiencies in data, results or processes.Where possible, develop and apply improved operational procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency, as well as the operation of the teamHandle various changing work assignments, so as to support client team workload.Maintain frequent interaction with project supervisorsFollow time and expense reporting, as well as other internal Aon business requirements.Prepare and maintain effective documentation of all client correspondence.RelationshipsMaintain effective relationships with Aon teams and clients.Establish credibility with clients and colleagues; be recognized as an effective problem solver.Deliver on commitments to clients and colleagues; meet both internal and client deadlines.Work optimally with colleagues, and support teamwork within the unit.Connect with team members in a constructive manner, regularly provide unsolicited feedback.Credentialing and Continuing EducationPass at least one actuarial exam per year toward attaining required credentials.Continue to develop industry, technical, and programming knowledge to stay ahead of developments in the profession.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertisePreferred Experience:Strong abilities with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.SQL and R or Python strongly recommendedGood communication skills, both oral and in writing.Good organization and time management skills.Completed at least one actuarial exam.Commitment towards attaining membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society.Education:Bachelor's Degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, risk management, or equivalent.We offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.
